Boral have opportunities for Transport Coordinators to join the engine room of Boral. The primary aim of a Transport Coordinator is to maximise the utilisation of the fleet in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner and to develop and enhance customer relationships.
Transport Coordinators are a constant interface with customers and drivers ensuring we meet customer requirements by reviewing next day orders and planning truck start times. You will be required to communicate effectively with your customers to ensure efficient allocations and where necessary recommend alternative times and manage re-allocation of work during out of cycle situations.

About the role
Coordinate our large fleet of tippers and tankers and utilise computerised scheduling tools to:
- Direct deliveries to depots and job sites
- Coordinate the replenishment of materials at Boral plants
- Allocate materials to external infrastructure projects
Shift hours will be rostered between 5.00am – 6pm Monday to Friday and every second Saturday from 6.00am.
About You
As a Transport Coordinator, you will have your finger on the pulse, possess an ability to think on your feet and plan ahead
- A conceptual thinker, responsible, organised and capable
- Experience in transport scheduling or dispatch is desirable
- Ability to interact with customers and provide quality outcomes
- Computer savvy (training provided on Boral systems)
- Ability to work independently
- Well-developed problem solving and prioritisation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
