About the role
We require punctual, reliable team member with a high degree of energy to ensure the smooth operation of the respective work areas. As the market leader in their industry they pride themselves on producing high quality products and these roles will ensure a consistent approach to key product lines.
You responsibilities will include:
- Working proactively as a team member to produce quality outputs.
- Effectively meet daily set targets that adhere to quality measures with no defects.
- Flexibility to deal with other tasks to cover seasonal changes and manufacturing demands.
- Maintain lost of process improvements activities as part of your natural work day.
Skills and experience
To be considered for the role you must possess the following:
- Previous Mig / Tig welding experience with appropriate training/ accreditation, fabrication or assembly experience.
- Previous experience working with power tools (highly regarded).
- Be willing and able to work day shift, Monday to Friday, plus overtime from time to time.
- Have experience working on a production line, or willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to solve simple math equations.
- The ability to read product detail drawings.
- A strong mechanical aptitude.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
To be a successful candidate you will also need:
- A current drivers licence and reliable transport.
- Ability to work unsupervised at times in a busy environment.
- Forklift Licence (Desirable).
- Ability to continuously lift heavy and bulky items safely.
- You must be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident.
- Willing to under go a police check, Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks in a fast paced environment.
