Our client located in the Prestons specialise in the distribution of white goods and are renown for providing high quality state of the art coffee machines. They have a medium to large sized team and are seeking the assistance of skilled forklift drivers with Highreach and Double Deep experience.
With a great company culture, and ongoing training provided you will be given great support by management whilst you begin your career with this company.
Hours are: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm with possible overtime when required.
Duties
- Experience operating an order picker
- Experience operating a high reach & Double Deep Raymond Forklift
- Work in a fast paced environment with safety in mind at all times
- Stock control
- Picking orders
- RF Scanning
- Receiving and Despatch
- Physical work such as repetitive lifting and carrying (up to 20kg), bending and walking
- Other general duties as requested which may include working off the forklift
Successful candidates must have the following:
- Current LF and/or LO Forklift Licence
- RF Scanner experience
- Able to operate Raymond Forklift (stand up and sit down)
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar role
- Ability to understand and comply with work health and safety instructions including safe manual handling techniques
- Have a valid forklift licence (in one or more of the classes listed above)
- High reach & Double Deep experience
- Ability to provide relevant certificates/licences
- Must provide two contactable referees
- Capable of following instructions and completing tasks as requested by management
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
