Based at head office of this privately owned wholesaler of safety and workwear, a newly created position has become available to assist the National Inventory Manager, the Managing Director and their teams in bringing their inventory inline with their bar coding system and assist with day to day purchasing.
The key responsibilities to this role will be:
• Creating/deleting part numbers with current system
• Cleansing & managing master data files
• Auditing stock vs system to provide 100% accurate reporting
• Managing supplier price lists and costs
• Assist with max & min levels for purchasing - high volumes
• Process stock adjustments
• Allocate bin locations & work with the warehouse team
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• Previous experience in a similar role, wholesale & some manufacturing highly regarded
• Examples of superior assertiveness, team work, following processes and clear communication
• Analytical & numeracy skills
• Trouble shooting and positive outcomes
• Building strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Strong MS Excel spread sheeting skills
