About the Role
Centurion is looking for an experienced pickup and delivery ute driver with a forklift ticket for our new customer, Anglo American and their specific coal mine sites across the Bowen Basin.This role will be responsible for metropolitan pick up and deliveries and assisting with loading, unloading and restraining freight. The ideal candidate will have previous experience whilst having a professional and customer focused attitude.
Duties
- Metropolitan pickup and delivery in a company Ute
- Loading and unloading of general freight
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks
- Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Ensure connotes are completed correctly
- Ensure all scanning is accurate and completed
- Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
- Safe working record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- C Class drivers licence
- Accredited Worksafe High Risk License to operate a Forklift – LF Endorsement
- Demonstrated experience in load restraints as per Australian standards
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Good time management skills
- Ability to take direction from supervisors
- HR Licence desirable
