Our client is a multi-award winning supermarket storage and distribution provider in Australia. Due to an increase in demand and growth we are currently seeking multiple experienced HC Drivers to join their team immediately working out of their Prestons and Minchinbury depots.
Ideal applicants will have previous experience in local deliveries and refrigerated transport. The position will require an ongoing driver who is prepared to perform loading and unloading of palletized stock using electric pallet jacks as required. You will be required to attend a site induction and in-cab assessment, adhere to all OH&S regulations, complete all required load documentation and conduct daily pre-start checks on vehicles.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Hold a current HC Licence or above
- Current HC licence and min. Minimum 7 points on licence
- Forklift Licence is beneficial - not essential
- Have a minimum 12 months driving experience
- Be able to provide a current RMS Driver History Report
- A BFM certificate is preferred but not essential
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kgs
- Have good time management skills
- An excellent understanding of Safety policies and procedures
- Must have full work rights in Australia
The right candidate will be required to adhere to a fortnightly roster and available to work 9+ days per fortnight, including weekends. On offer is a generous pay rate and work,life balance.
Candidates MUST be willing to undergo a Pre-employment Physical including a drug and alcohol test at the time of interview.
