An exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Load Out Coordinator currently exists to join our Cold Stores team at our Brooklyn Plant. Located just 15 minutes west of the Melbourne CBD, our Brooklyn Plant is a 5 day, multi-species operation with the capacity to process up to 1,400 head of cattle and 8,200 head of small stock per day.
Our Cold Stores team comprises of 64 employees working AM and PM shift. Reporting to the Cold Stores Supervisor on PM shift you will be responsible organising daily set up of Coles Beef and Domestic loads, data entry and recording. Communicating with Operations and Shipping teams to ensure completion of all orders, advise and coordinate with shipping yards and transport companies for compete loads and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately following compliance and company guidelines.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ability to organise workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
- Ability and initiative to work unsupervised
- Strong communication skills
- Inventory knowledge
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in fast paced environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate excel MS office skills
- Forklift license
Criteria
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Previous Cold Stores Supervisory experience
- Understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety standard
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transport.
- Ability to work as part of the team and individually
- Ability to follow JBS Australia Policies and Procedures
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate and work seamlessly with internal stakeholders
