We are a busy manufacturing company that is looking for an experienced purchasing officer. To be successful in this role you would bring to us:
- Experience in accounts payable using MYOB accounting software
- Administrative experience with an accounts focus
- Experience in stock control/ordering procedures
- Working knowledge of a factory environment
- Ability to learn new product components and source new suppliers
- Ability to liaise with suppliers and negotiate cost effective pricing structures
- Willingness to involve yourself within the factory environment and liaise with team leaders with stock needs
- Experience ordering metal and glass would be advantageous
- Appreciate for required stock levels
You will be responsible for all aspects of purchasing from ordering right through to payment of accounts. The role is suited to a person with a focus on both administrative and manufacturing aspects of the business.
This is a newly formed role so the successful candidate will be involved heavily in the development of the position.
