ASKIN Performance Panels is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of high quality Insulated and Fire-rated panel systems. The company's products are widely used in the commercial and residential building sector including cool-stores and roofing applications. Your goal will be to drive a performance culture and business growth through manufacturing efficiencies, plant reliability, productivity and quality. You will lead a team of production, door makers and warehouse staff .
As an experienced Production Manager, you will already have the knowledge and proven ability to build a high level of operational standards in:
- OHS&E
- Lean Manufacturing Methodologies & Continuous Improvement
- Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Quality Systems & Product Excellence
- Preventative Maintenance
- Team Performance
- Inventory Management
- Waste Control
We are looking for a charismatic self-starter with the enthusiasm and initiative to drive change. Your business acumen and natural leadership qualities will be important in providing clear team direction and building strong functional relationships with internal stakeholders.
Your hands-on manufacturing experience along with a thorough understanding of the disciplines associated with best practice lean manufacturing is critical for this role.This experience would ideally be gained in a polymer, metals or insulation manufacturing environment. You must be able to demonstrate how you have developed a strong and consistent process focus by integrating lean practices and continuous improvement into the day to day operational activities.
