SES Labour Solutions have partnered with a leading contractor who specialises in providing Earthmoving Equipment Services benefiting both the construction and mining sectors. Due to an exciting period of growth, our client requires an experienced Logistics Inventory Coordinator to join their team.
About the role
We are looking for a competent Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our Company.
You will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of assets (HME), materials and goods.
As the successful candidate in this role, some of your core responsibilities will include;
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Ability to produce concise, practical and effective management with structured reports, correspondence and communication
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills both with internal and external clients
- Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Receipt in goods and services used to carry out the role
Your experience should include but not limited to;
- Strong logistics/warehouse operational experience; ideally at least 5 years' experience in a logistics/warehouse environment
- Considerable exposure to Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
- Experience with planning/co-ordination of tasks
- Analytical - can use data to drive operational and cost improvements
- Knowledge of heavy machinery movements would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills; communication, can provide clear direction
- Able to think ahead and anticipate issues
- Strong computer literacy skills e.g. Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics or other highly organised environment
- Well-versed in supply management principles and practices
