We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Officer to co-ordinate our imports, exports, third party dropship and domestic deliveries.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and co-ordinating import and export activities including document preparation, verification and keeping of associated records.
- Ensuring all internal requirements regarding cost, and timeliness of goods and services are met.
- Developing shipping plans, cost and packaging estimates to meet demand for import and export shipments.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders and transport providers to ensure service level agreements are met including project timelines.
- Liaise with internal and external key stakeholders and monitor and notify delivery schedule variances.
- Monitor and ensure duties and tariffs are applied on a monthly basis.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 3 years shipping experience including imports/exports.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- SAP desirable, not essential
