Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring food safety, quality and legality of products manufactured according to its predetermined standards and specifications. It will also involve maintaining documentation, present conformance to specifications and take corrective action where required.

Description
- Inspection of finished goods and sample checks
- Maintaining calibration and verifying equipment
- QC checks on Incoming goods, environmental monitoring per shift
- Assist with training of staff and implementing new QA procedures
- Internal audit participation as well as reviewing of SOP’s and work processes
- Sample records and documentation
Profile
- Food Science degree qualified or a related degree
- A general interest and experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Experience and knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Quality Management Systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Very good communication, and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Own transport is required
- Ability to taste test products
