We are currently seeking experienced Store Persons for positions available on an afternoon shift located in Derrimut.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this position will include but not be limited to:
- Loading / Unloading trucks with various steel products
- Overhead Gantry Crane Operation (training provided)
- Forklift driving
- Receiving
- Putaways
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Staging loads
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes
- Valid Victorian drivers licence. Licence checks will be conducted prior to employment.
- Forklift license and experience however this does not form the bulk of your work duties
- Overhead gantry experience highly advantageous
- Fit (the bulk of your working day is spent on your feet and constantly moving)
- Solid communication skills, both verbal, written, and numerical skills
- Strong OHS understanding
- Reliable, Punctual
- Steel Experience not essential but highly advantageous
- Reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail.
This is an afternoon shift position that requires you to work from 3.00pm to 11.00pm with overtime as required. You may be required to work on a Saturday when operational requirements increase.
This position is paying over $39 per hour
