Airways Training delivers Air Navigation Service training for New Zealand and international clients - particularly from the Middle East, Pacific and Asia.
We are looking for qualified ATC Instructors who are excited by the opportunity to combine their skills and knowledge as a Controller with their willingness to extend their training skills and guide a wide team of trainees from New Zealand and overseas.
Key task will be delivering international and domestic Ab initio training courses in accordance with ICAO, EASA and Airways frameworks. In addition to your ICAO Level 6 English Language proficiency, and OJTI skills (with essential ratings in at least two of Aerodrome Control, Approach Non Radar, Approach or Enroute Surveillance), you will also have some skills and experience in Adult and classroom teaching and 1:1 instruction in a technical simulation environment. You will also have excellent communication skills and be comfortable with PC-based training frameworks and reporting formats.
These contract positions are for variable lengths depending on the location of the training, and the ratings held by the applicant.
