An exceptional role exists for a proactive and results driven procurement and contract specialist to join our team in TLC Healthcare's Head Office in Melbourne.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Procurement and Contracts manager will drive value from positive supplier relationships and ensure contract compliance with suppliers and customers of the organisation.  Working collaboratively and consultatively across the organization, the Procurement and Contracts Manager will:

• Develop and implement a strategic procurement approach;
• Proactively manage existing supplier relationships and develop new relationships as required;
• Ensure suppliers meet KPI requirements;
• Coordinate and monitor all organisational insurances;
• Manage procurement and contract-related governance and reporting (including suppliers and resident agreements).

 Key to your success in this role will be:

• Appropriate qualifications and demonstrated experience in managing procurement, tendering and contracts in the healthcare sector
• Strong interpersonal and communication and influencing skills
• Highly developed computer literacy, attention to detail and exceptional negotiation skills
• Current satisfactory Police Check Certificate
• Flexible and innovative approach to OHS and Injury Management
