SHIFT TIMES:

8AM - 10AM start times
Shifts operate Monday to Friday
10-12 hour shifts

THE ROLE:

We currently have an opportunity for flexible HR licensed drivers to join of our national clients in logistics.
Based out of Tullamarine, you’ll be responsible for delivering freight to business and residential customers around Melbourne Metro.

This is a varied on going casual role, as our client is looking for people who are prepared to drive both HR trucks and MR vans. The role involves up to 50 pick ups and drop offs to commercial and industrial customers depending on run sheets/what vehicle you are driving.

Successful candidates must have proven experience driving these vehicles in similar roles involving multi drops and be committed to a varied ongoing role.

DUTIES:

• Drive a HR/MR truck and/or vans to locations in Melbourne Metro areas
• Complete up to 50 pick ups/drop offs consisting of approx. 50% palletized, 50% loose freight
• Complete delivery paperwork and follow all company policies & procedures
• Represent an iconic brand and liaise with customers

REQUIREMENTS:

• A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) license
• Ability to pass a National Police Check
• Confident driving skills and experience in a similar fast paced role involving multi drops
• Strong work ethic and attitude towards safety
• Ability to lift up to 20kgs as unloading/loading cargo is a requirement
• Clean and safe driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
