Our client, an Australian operated and owned company based in the Northern suburbs, has 5 exciting new opportunities to join the newly formed afternoon shift. Due to continued expansion and growth, multiple opportunities have become available for highly self -motivated CNC Programmers to join the Production team.

Based in the Northern suburbs, you will be responsible for running 1.5 machines manufacturing rock drills and drifters for the mining industry. Completing 3 weeks training on Day shift, you will then move on to Afternoon shift working 4pm - midnight.
As CNC programmer/operator, you will work on Okuma machinery as well as operating Sling cranes, Walker stackers, Pallet jacks, and Trolleys.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience with CNC machine operation
• Ability to read Engineering drawings
• Capability to prepare and load raw materials
• Experience with quality control
• Experience completing preventative maintenance requirements
• The ability to work supervised and autonomously

Prerequisites for the role are:

• Minimum of 2 references
• Current Drivers Licence
• Able to pass random drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to clear a Police check
