A permanent full-time position currently exists for an experienced Logistics Coordinator within the manufacturing facility of a well-known and leading provider of gardening and turf-care products located in Western Sydney. 

Reporting to the Site Manager, this position will see the the successful applicant working within a close team environment and be responsible for ensuring that all logistics related functions on site are performed accurately and in a timely manner and that any issues are monitored, investigated and reported as necessary. 

Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure all orders are scheduled for picking and dispatch
• Communication with customers in relation to orders in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot any errors or delays with orders
• Management of related paperwork
• Data entry / Updating ERP system (SAP)  
• Creating consignments and delivery manifests
• Management of pallet movement, pallet stock and availability
• Some supervision of staff as directed by or in the absence of Site Manager
• Liaising with key stakeholders including Customers, head office, Site Manager, Site Supervisor and production staff for escalated issues.

• Prior administrative experience in a warehousing or manufacturing  environment
• Understanding of logistics & transport
• Good customer service skills 
• Strong levels of computer literacy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience working with SAP (Desirable but not essential)
• A preparedness  ability to carry out manual tasks 
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
