SURDEX Sheet & Coil is a member of the Southern Steel Group, a leading company in the steel industry. We are based in Dandenong and specialise in supplying solutions across the Victorian market.
An excellent opportunity currently exists for an experienced Store Person/Warehouse Assistant to join the team in Dandenong.
Working in a fast paced environment, the main duties include warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts. You will also be required to pick orders, unload and stack materials.
We are offering a full time permanent position, working Monday to Friday. Female applicants are encouraged to apply.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of Steel (preferred)
- Experience using RF scanners;
- A current forklift licence;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment
