About the business and the role

Northline is Australia's supply chain specialist operating an integrated national logistics network in major cities and remote locations throughout the country.

With a team dedicated to achieving the organisation's goals through commitment, consistency and valuing individual contribution, we are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic Warehouse Customer Support Officer to join our team in our warehousing division in Regency Park, Adelaide.  This is a Full-Time position, Monday – Friday. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for keying warehousing orders and consignment notes, processing orders, whilst also interacting with our warehouse clients over the phone and by email. 

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Data entry of all orders, receivables and charging requirements;
  • Preparation of consignment notes, picking slips and labels for all delivery/despatch movements;
  • Providing clients with stock reports, POD's, ETA's or general order enquiries;
  • Interaction with depot staff to ensure client requirements are understood and actioned;
  • Support to/coordination of order and activity requirements, such as stock collections, stocktakes, customer/other transport pick-ups and other similar activities;
  • Attending to phone calls from clients, service providers and other branches, to either satisfy the query or direct appropriately;

The skills and experience required;

  • A High Reach forklift licence, with excellent forklifting skills;
  • Order picking licence would be advantageous, but not essential;
  • Strong computer skills, especially in word, excel and Warehouse Management Systems;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Adaptability and a pro active approach;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly demanding environment;
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy of information;
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work under strict time constraints;
  • Maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers.

Experience in the Transport and Warehousing Industry will be held in high regard.
