My Client is a Global Giant that currently consists of over 30 commercial companies in more than 20 countries and hires more than 1500 staff across 3 business units. The Australian Operation is now in a position to appoint a National Supply Chain Manager to assist across all 3 business units.
The Position
This position is located in the western suburbs of Sydney and your responsibility will be to also manage the supply operations of the other warehouses located in Victoria Western Australia & Queensland.
You will be required to develop and implement storage and distribution policies & procedures and develop/ manage strategies and systems to ensure there is efficient movement of products within the national supply chain.
The main responsibilities across the 3 Business Units include:
- Managing 8-10 Million of stock holdings.
- Monitoring suppliers to ensure they are able to meet stock demands
- Ensuring the Suppliers product are of the highest quality and delivery targets are met
- Establish a regular price review program for stock purchases
- Assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies
- Reviewing inventory and supply systems to ensure stock is adequately controlled
- Develop and execute supplier agreements
- Handle stock delivery issues and consequent impacts
- Track, evaluate and report on supply chain and other key business process metrics
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the warehouse team as well as cross-functionally
- Ensure safety is paramount at all times
Candidate
- Approximately 5 years + Supply Chain Management experience on a National Scale
- Experience dealing with Large scale stock holdings.
- You MUST have experience working in a large project based environment
- Purchasing and forecasting experience a must
- Implementing policies and procedures
- Tertiary qualification in logistics management or related is imperative

Salary
The remuneration offered is dependable on your expertise. The Salary Package is approximately $120K Package (consisting of base + superannuation. )
All interstate travel is paid for by the company.
