About the role:
- Shunting and yard duties
- Provison, Service, Clean and perform lower level maintenance on rollingstock/Locomotives
- Serviceability checks and certificates on rollingstock and locomotives within the competency of the employee.
- Operate and maintain heavy lifting equipment (exceeding 16 tonne) and other sundry terminal/site equipment (as required)
About you:
- Relevant Shunting Qualification
- Ability to meet CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment and other pre - offer checks.
- Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster
- Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
- Apply 'best practice' train management techniques to ensure efficient and safe train operations
