Saluda Medical develops advanced fully implantable neuromodulation systems for the next generation of implantable stimulation devices. We are a cutting edge, progressive, 100% Australian company at the forefront of spinal cord stimulation technologies for the management of chronic pain. We are currently successfully approaching the end of the Australian Clinical Trial phase, where we have registered outstanding results, and are in the regulatory approval phase.

We are seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to join as Cleanroom Operators in our manufacturing facilities in Lane Cove and Artarmon, NSW.

The primary role of this position is to manufacture our implantable products in our Cleanroom facility, as well as participate in manufacturing process improvements for all our implantable products. 

Your duties will mainly involve fine manual assembly of medical device products in a cleanroom environment, including the use of small industrial machinery, process improvements and quality control checks.

Accountabilities and Associated Responsibilities:

• Implement company's manufacturing processes for manufacture of implantable product in a cleanroom environment, in compliance to the relevant QA processes and procedures;
• Participate in Manufacturing processes improvement activities;
• Participate in the Manufacturing process OQ, PQ and PPQ activities;
• Participate in the use and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Essential Requirements: 

• Experience in operating small industrial machinery;
• Experience in using microscopes and small hand tools;
• Experience in Electronics/Hard Disk Drive, Semiconductor manufacturing industries;
• Excellent hand-eye coordination skills and excellent manual dexterity;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Experience with, and commitment to, working in a QA controlled environment;
• Good command of English language; with the ability to read, understand and follow work-instructions;
• Flexible to work shift hours;
• Ability to work in a team.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing of medical components, assemblies and products in a Cleanroom environment.
