Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia Pty Ltd are currently seeking a qualified B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to undertake maintenance work at our Essendon Base. This position will support our services to Ambulance Victoria operations.

 

Reporting to the Senior Base Engineer, the B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will perform maintenance work at our Essendon base. This role will be part of a 7 days on / 7 days off roster cycle, comprising of an ‘on call’ requirement during some nights during rostered shifts.

 

Babcock operates six AW139s across several bases throughout Victoria located at Essendon, Warrnambool, Latrobe Valley and Bendigo. Travel to all bases is a requirement of this role.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Mechanical Aeroskills or equivalent
  • B2 Licensed Engineer, type rated and with substantial experience in AW139
  • Demonstrated ability to manage aircraft support/role equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility and a positive attitude
