About The Role
Transport Allocator - Sydney Regional DC Minchinbury
Our Sydney Regional Distribution Centre boasts a fast-paced operation, distributing to our valued customers throughout NSW. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Transport Team as a Transport Allocator in a full-time capacity.

As a Transport Allocator, you will be responsible for the accurate planning and allocation of loads to vehicles and communication to the DC teams and customers.
Key responsibilities will include:

Liaise with Transport and Despatch teams of progress and status of loads, schedules and strategies.

Updating the Transport Supervisor on a real-time basis of any operational / service concerns or non-compliance

Liaising with Shunt drivers ensuring they understand the strategies and requirements on a day to day basis.

Liaising with appropriate personnel to achieve adherence to curfews, cross-docking and top uploads.

Allocating loads to meet store requirements and ensure on-time delivery to our customers.

Have an understanding and experience in transport / dispatch / warehousing or DC’s

Enjoy’s autonomy being a self starter

Have intermediate computer skills - Google, Excel, Word and Transport systems

Possess strong communication Skills

Have a strong customer Service focus

Proven problem-solving abilities

Be results oriented

Be a team player who works hard but willing to have a laugh
