Description

This newly created, Regional Operations Manager position, has been identified as part of a strategic review and structural reorganisation. This new, collaborative structure will deliver efficiencies and add value by implementing a forward thinking, integrated business plan. This will ensure that wins can be leveraged by consolidating the reporting lines of multiple sites under the Regional Operations Manager. This will enable the existing Site Leaders to work collegiately and drive a connectivity of talent and ideas across the regional hub that delivers enhancements to the overall quality, safety and fulfilment of customer expectations.

As Regional Operations Manager you will take full responsibility for delivering optimal production performances and safety across eight manufacturing sites with approximately 400+ indirect reports. You will need to create and execute a road map that works to deliver best practice and deliver ongoing process improvements and efficiency gains. With multiple P&L responsibility you will combine manufacturing and excellence with commercial insight and strategic planning.

Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical, operational and commercial leadership skills and autonomous capabilities. You will have been responsible for manufacturing, production and operations across multiple sites, most likely within a packaging, food & beverage, plastics, consumer manufacturing, industrial, chemicals or processing environment for example.

Your hands-on operational excellence, manufacturing expertise and savvy commercial approach will combine with your visionary mindset to enable measured yet insightful decision making processes.

You will drive a business forward by analysing and interpreting commercial data and decoding the P&L reports. This will allow you to make informed strategic decisions using objective insights and business intelligence to drive your change initiative.

Your inspirational communication style and authentic, engaging demeanour will be a vital personal characteristic to ensure success in this role.

Job Offer

• This salary package is commensurate with experience.
• Circa $250-300k + STI Bonus
