Your new role
As an Expert Documentation Co-ordinator you will be required to become subject matter expert on the documentation requirements for a region and develop excellent relationships with the regional team ensuring high levels of compliance, accuracy and process improvements. You will ensure the production and dispatch of accurate export documentation to TWE regional officers and their customers ensuring all shipments are compliant.
Key responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Review order stats and transfers on a daily basis
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure accurate & timely processing of export documentation
- Dispatch of documents within agreed KPI and SLAs
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, chambers of commerce, and other government authorities in collating export documentation
- Processing documents under Letters of Credit and liaising with the relevant banks
- Ensure master data is accurate in relevant systems to produce documentation
- Ensuring shipment are compliant
- Daily and weekly reporting of status of operational documentation issues
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in similar role with realistic and practical understanding of end-end
- Tertiary degree in Logistics or International Business is highly regarded.
- international shipping operations (import, export and customs clearance for AIR, SEA and LAND)
- Experience in processing export documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. PowerPoint, Word, Access, Visio & capability to deliver effective reports.
- Detailed understanding of system integration, XML formats, database and ERP Applications is highly regarded.
