About the Role:
We currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Storeperson, to be based out of our branch at Salisbury South.
Reporting to the Warehouse & Fabrication Supervisor, you will work to maximise warehouse processes and provide excellent standards of customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include pick, pack and despatch of goods to Fletcher Insulation customers, as well as receiving goods into our warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading both local and interstate fleet, and you will also be required to identify & report where possible any distribution issues.
As part of this role, you will also work as a Fabrication Operator when required (to cover periods of leave, or when demand is high). At these times, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and accurate undertaking of production tasks within the Fabrication Line – setting up and operating all production equipment required, and following outlined safe work practices for the manufacture of Faced Blanket to meet quality, productivity & service targets.
About You:
To be successful in this role you must enjoy working with people, have excellent attention to detail and pride yourself on your exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current Forklift License
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience driving a Forklift and working in a Distribution environment.
- Be experienced and competent in the storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures/regulations.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- A strong team ethic with the ability to understand and follow clear direction.
- Total commitment and compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Good computer literacy
