Air Liquide Australia (ALA) currently has an opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in Head Office on St Kilda Road.
You will be responsible for managing the Packaged Gas Supply Chain activities for Australia to ensure high performance in terms of safety, service level to customers and cost efficiencies.
What you will do
- You will work with a small team of Demand Planners & Schedulers located in main cities across Australia
- You will manage our contract provider relationships and performance reviews to maintain high safety and service standards
- You will be in charge of running the implementation of our new scheduling and rollout across Australia
- You will work with various stakeholders including customer care to ensure deliveries and service are consistently reaching their KPI's for customer satisfaction
- You will provide insights and significant data for board level management to asses.
Who are you?
- You have a strong transport and logistics background
- Ideally from a fast paced environment like FMCG or a 3rd party supply chain provider
- Experience with the transportation of dangerous goods is highly regarded
- Your knowledge of SAP or similar systems must be high
- Ability to work with Data and multiple stakeholders
- You are the calmest one in the room during a crisis with the ability to think fast.
