The Company

Based in Melbourne's CBD, this organisation is a progressive and forward thinking IT Infrastructure company that has been operating for over 20 years. They have a continual focus on customer service and quality and are seeking an energetic and analytical thinker to join their developing and growing business.

The Role

Our client requires an energetic candidate with demonstrated experience within the purchasing management space. You will be organised, thorough and show great attention to detail. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Management of the Purchasing team including performance and quality management 
• Improvement to the Purchasing and Supplier Performance management processes
• Sourcing events on key commodity contracts as well as Indirects for the business
• General purchasing activities in support of the team

The successful candidate will have strong management experience. You will be a self-motivated person with fantastic problem solving abilities. You will be resilient and focussed on delivering the best service to the business.

You will have strong customer service skills, partnered with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As the Manager of this department, you will be engaging both internally with stakeholders and externally with clients. Communications must be exceptional.
