STOREPERSON – INWARD GOODS

Located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, Diver Consolidated Industries (DCI) is a leading manufacturer of metal pressings, welded assemblies, hinges and heat and acoustic shields for many diverse industries.

DCI currently requires a day shift Inward Goods Storeperson for an immediate start.

The Inward Goods Storeperson will:

• Receive and process purchased items
• Safely store raw materials and components
• Book in purchased materials and update computer stock records
• Assist production personnel by delivering material to work stations using forklift
• Control stock movements in and out of storage
• Observe all health and safety requirements
• Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area

To succeed in this role you must be:

• A licensed Forklift driver
• Able to use an overhead crane
• Have basic computer skills (MRP, Email)
• Have relevant skills in a similar role
• Highly organised
• Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Aware of and follow safe work practices, particularly related to Forklifts and Overhead cranes
• Have excellent communication skills
• Punctual and reliable
