Great opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join an established food manufacturing business in Melbourne's South East.
Client Details
My client are an established food manufacturing business and supplier to major retailers across Australia. They are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join their leadership team on site.
Description
As the Manufacturing Manager your primary focus will be identifying areas for improvement and developing plans to address and deliver. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Implementing 5S and TPM Principles as well as actively reducing hazards in the workplace through employee involvement whilst complying with the business OH&S standards
- Developing and implementing strategies to maximise production efficiencies
- Delivering on DIFOT/PIFOT/Waste/Quality and Labour budgets whilst identifying opportunities for improvement
- Developing succession plans for employees and cross training to ensure longevity
- Delivery of continuous improvement projects across the plant
Profile
You will be a highly motivated and driven professional with previous experience as a Production Manager in an FMCG background. Additionally you will possess:
- A minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing leadership role or similar
- The ability to coach, mentor, motivate and lead staff
- Experience within the food manufacturing industry is essential
- Comprehensive understanding of Industrial Relations laws and employee relations
- Solid experience working as part of a customer focused organisation with a strong emphasis on both internal and external customer service
- Leadership, influencing, change management and financial skills
