Nowchem specialises in the manufacture and distribution of detergent, disinfectant and water treatment chemical products as well as offering specialised pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities.
This diverse role will require you to operate filling and packaging machinery, assist in the formulation of products by dispensing and mixing of raw materials, packing off into specified containers and bottles and equipment for resale as well as equipment cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
Applicant must:
• Have a Current forklift licence (essential)
• Be able to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately (essential)
• Have a good understanding of proper manual handling techniques and an ability to work safely
• Be reliable - Own transport is essential
• Be a self-starter able to work semi autonomously, or in small team environments
• Be physically fit (manual handling up to 25kg)
• Have ability to work rotating rosters (days and afternoon shifts)
Your duties will include:
• Operation of filling/packaging/labelling equipment
• Dispensing raw materials as specified
• Packing goods into specified containers / bottles
• labelling bottles and cartons as per packaging instructions
• Clean machinery and equipment
• Mix ingredients as per specification
• Perform stock take (raw material and packaging)
• Follow and accurately complete process manufacturing documentation
• Maintain a tidy, hygienic and safe working environment
Rostered Hours:
Week 1 Day Shift
- Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm
- Friday 6am to 2.30pm /or 8.30am to 5pm
Week 2 Afternoon shift
- Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 11.45pm
