ROLE SNAP SHOT!
A brand new and exciting opportunity is now available to lead the Australian Import Replenishment team and manage the forecasting system to meet the company's inventory expectations. Reporting to the Inventory Imports Manager this role is based in Dandenong South.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE!
- Lead a Team of 3 in the Import Replenishment planning team.
- Manage and maintain the DSX forecasting system to provide an accurate forecast to drive the replenishment planning system to manage inventory and achieve high fill rates and balance stock levels at an acceptable level to the business.
- Establish new and maintain current reports to support the Businesses S&OP process
- Develop strong, ongoing stakeholder relationships to ensure effective forecasting to achieve maximum service levels to meet business requirement
- Internal communications to aid key stakeholder decision making
- Other tasks and reporting as required
OUR IDEAL PERSON!
- Experienced in inventory demand forecasting and replenishment planning within a FMCG or B2B environment.
- Solid understanding of the import process and procedures
- Highly customer and quality focused with attention to detail,
- Experience with Advanced Forecasting and Planning control systems (ie Demand Solutions DS or DSX, Infor MLE, Manugistics, Logilty, i2)
- A strong bias towards inventory supporting a rapid growth business with a broad customer base,
- Ability to operate within the limits of agreed budgets, deadlines and targets.
- High levels of initiative with a keen interest in developing and implementing new and creative solutions to business and service challenges,
- Possess well developed communication skills as there is a requirement to communicate at multiple levels both internally and externally, exercising influence to gain support and assistance,
- Ability to work well under pressure
- A clear, logical and innovative thinker,
- Ability to prioritize, organise work and meet strict time deadlines.
