Our client is a market leader in the automotive body building industry who prides themselves on a great working environment and culture.  We are looking for an experienced truck bodybuilder or assembly worker who has had exposure to the heavy vehicle industry. To secure this role you will need to be serious about long-term employment and have a flexible and responsible work attitude. 

You will also be required to produce 2 previous work referees and demonstrate a stable work history.

Responsibilities and skills you will require are:

• Work as part of the assembly team
• Assembly of Utility and Truck bodies; Bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk or bond component parts to assembled products
• Cut, fabricate and weld componentry to job order specifications 
• Inspect assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications
• Fabrication experience (MIG some TIG)
• Responsible for quality of own work produced
• Document control: accurate processing of all documents which pass through your hands, i.e. action, processing, collating, filing as required
• Other duties as may be assigned

To secure this role you will need to have the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

• Previous Trades Assistant experience 
• Leadership Qualities
• Use of hand and power tools
• Natural mechanical aptitude
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Great interpersonal Skills
