About the business

We are looking for experienced Project Manager to supervise all aspects of the supply, installation and glazing of commercial Aluminium windows and doors into luxury residential homes and commercial high-density projects mainly in Brisbane area. This is full time role Monday-Friday. Immediate start.  

About the role

• Liaising with the builder and attending site meetings.
• Supervise the shop drawings process, utilising internal or external CAD drafters.
• Obtaining window sizes either by site measurements or predetermined sizes.
• Drawing production sheets and organising delivery, installation through to payment of the contract.
• Submitting monthly payment claims.
• Safety obligations.
• Understanding our contractual obligations from commencement to completion.

Skills and experience

• English / Chinese speaking
• Direct experience in project managing the window install contract.
• Exceptional communication and comprehension skills both written and verbal.
• Be competent and reliable & able to organise factory production and site installation crews.
• Be skilled in problem solving and able to complete projects within a set period and budget and meet builders program.
• A good knowledge of building practices, Australian Standards, BCA codes and can read architectural drawings and details.
• Basic computer skills using MS Office.
• Drafting experience is beneficial but not essential.
