Goodman Fielder is seeking a motivated, self-starting individual to join the Darwin bakery. As part of the production team, this role will contribute to the efficient operation of the plant with a focus on quality and safety.

This is a full time opportunity working 8.15am to 6.15pm on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of bread manufacturing equipment
• Working in slicing, basket washing, wrapping, sorting, bagging, assembling, order picking
• Checking, stock control and/or loading of finished goods and cleaning up
• Adhering to food safety procedures and company policies
• Reporting all injuries and hazards to you supervisor
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Ensuring machines run in an efficient and uninterrupted manner
• Maintaining production waste within acceptable amounts
• Meeting deadlines in a busy work environment
• Keeping timely and accurate records of work activity

About You:

• Process or food manufacturing operational experience preferred
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A great attitude towards health and safety
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy
• Willing to participate in training when required
