Part of the ASX listed Ruralco Group, we are well positioned for growth and currently offer a great opportunity for a driven Inventory Controller to join our Kings Meadows team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Service & Maintenance Manager you will provide logistical support to the sales and services team to ensure we are adequately equipped with materials and products to complete projects on time. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all materials for project work, keeping up to date stock control systems, cycle counting, bin maintenance, replenishments and ensuring inventory accuracy; planning future capacity requirements, and unloading incoming deliveries will all form part of this varied role. This is hands on role that will include everything from picking and packing, reviewing the companies inventory control practices and customer invoicing using our SAP system.
About You:
To be successful you must demonstrate previous warehousing and logistical experience with knowledge of procurement and inventory management procedures. You will have a high attention to detail, be process driven and demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be self-directed and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety as well as experience of working in a team. You will demonstrate your computer skills to enable procurement transactions and inventory measures, ideally with exposure to SAP.
A current Forklift licence and a clean and current Drivers licence is essential for this role.
