The Role

As Warehouse Team Leader you will be integral to the warehouse operation, leading by example and fostering a positive team spirit within the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on managing the overall function of the warehouse, and there is a small team in place to oversee and provide guidance and direction to.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Managing the inwards flow of goods from inbound shipments
- Order despatch and distribution of goods
- Stock control; replenishing and packaging
- Active management and control of freight costs
- Despatch of orders received by midday to be despatched same day
- Ensuring site Health and Safety policies are strictly adhered to
- Ensure KPIs for the warehouse team are achieved
- Championing a positive working environment where the job is done right the first time - it's all about teamwork
- Identifying opportunities for improvements
You will need to be able to lead and manage staff whilst also being very much a hands-on worker with excellent English, great attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. A current Forklift License is required along with a good level of physical fitness as your role will include picking, packing and loading.
