Hanson is seeking an enthusiastic and professional HR Driver for our Northern NSW Agitator trucks. You will have responsibility for delivering concrete to our external customers.
 
You will primarliy be based at our Byron Bay concrete plant but should be willing to travel to our Northern Rivers Country plants as well. 
 
Tasks and duties will include:

• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy and mechanically sound.
• Driving vehicles to their destination and unloading according to site requirements.
• Carrying out daily cleaning of the truck.
• Having a sufficient working knowledge of the product and to comply with the relevant delivery standards.
• Pushing and pulling of loads, including concrete discharge chute.
• Passing on customer concerns to Central Despatch or Company Sales Representatives
• Maintenance tasks including yard duties.

 
To successfully secure this opportunity, you must

• Have a valid HR/HC license.
• Have a current copy of driving history.
• Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Have minimum 12 months commercial HR truck driving experience.
• Have a Construction Card (White Card)
• Be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be capable and confident in your capability.
• Be able to work with a flexible roster including Saturdays.

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Hanson premises.
