Region Peak Transport is a rapidly growing company with an enviable reputation for superior levels of customer service. With depots located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide this privately owned carrier has grown consistently to be the mid-size fleet it is today.
We are looking for an experienced 2IC with high level of communication skills, strong planning and organisation skills to oversee a daily range of daily operational task within our Sydney depot.
Based in Wetherill Park, reporting directly to the Sydney Manager, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Transport and Logistics.
The successful canadiate will have strong industry experience and be able to demonstrate:
- Loading Line Haul trailers for correct weight and cube
- Strong knowledge of Sydney metro areas
- Experience in allocations
- MC license would be desirable for back up driver
- Forklift license is required
- Intermediate computer skills
The duties will include but not limited to:
- Assisting the Depot Manager in all areas
- Unloading and loading of all vehicles
- Freight collection when required
- House keeping
