The Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and working as part of a great team, as a senior Customer Service Representative, you will provide exemplary service to a portfolio of clients to meet all their logistical requirements.
Your responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Evaluate client needs, assess the logistical options and make business decisions to ensure time lines are met
- Communicate with overseas agents and local clients to ensure cargo is transferred in timely and cost effective manner
- Accountable for providing loading plans to overseas agents for FAK and Airfreight consolidations
- Proactively monitor, report on cargo status and manage any issues
- Ensure profitability on shipments, escalating and working through issues with the Sales Team/Sales Director
- Maintain client records and update rates
- Responsible for sending sailing confirmations to customers and ensure all air cargo is uplifted as planned
- Ensure that order tracking clients receive their status reports
- Ensure all orders and notes are updated
Requirements for the Role

- Freight Forwarding experience of at least 3 years
- Customer Service Experience in Freight Forwarding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Integrity and a can do attitude
