About the role
Due to continuing growth we are looking for an Import Operations/ Client Services team member to join our well established and friendly team.
If you've been spending hours travelling to Botany, Mascot or the inner west, this could be the job you have been waiting for. We are looking for someone with a minimum 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding who has excellent communication skills and a good understanding of all facets of order tracking, shipment booking and the importing process.
In your new role you will be responsible for the day to day operations of key clients' orders and import shipments. This is a role that is all about working for and partnering with your customers and keeping them updated through phone calls, emails, reporting etc.
In this role you will also be dealing with overseas agents and internal departments such as customs and cartage to ensure the best outcome for your customer. If this sounds like you please apply.

Skills and experience
Critical to Your new role are the following competencies and experience:
- a minimum of 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry;
- a minimum of 2 years' CargoWise1 (EDI) experience;
- ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail;
- computer literacy and excellent communication skills;
- ability to think outside the square and prioritise your workload in both task and time management;
- ability to build relationships with customers by regularly speaking and meeting with them.
