• Based at Stapylton (QLD) – PFD Fresh to Go
• Casual position – Sunday to Friday (rotational shifts)

We are PFD Food Services, Australia's largest privately owned food service company (www.pfdfoods.com.au). Established in 1943, PFD now has almost 70 branches in metropolitan and regional areas around Australia. We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs!

The Role

The main responsibilities of this role involve picking customer orders, replenishing stock and performing other operation functions in a freezer / cold storage warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, pick and cross check orders in line with company pick KPI
• Ensure completed customer orders are located correctly in run order
• Ensure labels are correctly applied to final picks
• Printing of daily paper work
• Employ correct stock rotation principles at all times based on ‘first in first out’ rule
• Ensure high internal customer service to production and  transport team
• Ensure warehouse is neat, clean and in a ‘ready to pick’ state at all times
• Understand and adhere to HACCP, WQA, CFMSR, SQF regulations
• Assist in all site stock takes
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor’s

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

• Forklift license preferred
• Understand company food safety program (HACCP) and in particular the “cold chain” process
• Understand  WQA / CFMSR / SQF
• Customer focused
• Good communication skills
• Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
• Good time and organisational skills
• Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
• Flexible and adaptable
• Have basic understanding of OH&S
• Have a basic understanding of the end to end distribution process
