Our Client:
Is a growing Australian International Freight Forwarding company providing customised supply chain solutions to their portfolio of clients.
Due to continued growth in the business a new role has been created for an experienced Import Operations coordinator to join the team in Tullamarine.
Reporting to the Operations Manager – you will be managing shipments within operations from start to finish
Responsibilities:
- Registrations Import Sea and Air
- Collate documentation for clearance
- Liaising with overseas agents on bookings
- Send out Pre-alerts
- Process SCA/ACA and EDOs
- Liase with Customs brokers and check ICS for clearance
- Liase with Transport providers for delivery
- Monitor shipments closely to ensure they move as booked
To be considered:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Freight forwarding – in a similar role
- EDI Cargo wise experience (essential)
- Understanding of Incoterms
- Ability to prioritise workload and time management skills
- A "Can do" attitude and willingness to learn
