We are seeking experienced HC drivers to be based from our Ballarat depot undertaking local & regional work. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individuals who are required to display a commitment to safety and compliance standards.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Day to day operation of Semi 

• Daily pre-start checks on vehicle and MHE equipment.

• Complying with coupling & uncoupling trailers and tug test procedures.

• Completing con notes/run sheets and ensuring you collect all the critical documents.

• Adhering to the Driver Manual and customer safety goals in direct areas of responsibility and adhering to all relevant OH&S legislative, policy and procedural requirements.

• Recording load weight in accordance with HVM.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating Semi & configurations (refrigeration experience highly desirable).

• Extensive experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers

• Good understanding of load restraint.

• Possess a HC Licence.

• High customer service skills, good communication, written and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

• Mature attitude with the ability to work independently.
