Reporting to the Planning & Purchasing Manager, the Master Production Planner is primarily responsible for the delivery of an accurate and optimised production plan for the site which will underpin a consistent and stable service level to our Customers.

The Master Production Planner will be responsible for:

  • The finite scheduling and campaigning of the primary production process (Printing)
  • Chairing the Weekly and Monthly Supply Review meetings as part of the broader S&OP process
  • DIFOT root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement in supply
  • Maintaining MRP data to allow for effective planning and ordering
  • Liaising with key stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to identify and explore improvements to work and systems and have excellent attention to detail.

The experience and skill required for the role:

  • Demonstrated performance in a Master Planner role
  • Sound understanding of MRP
  •  Advanced technical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Microsoft Office and system savvy
  • Robust presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player with a “can do” attitude
  • The ability to negotiate with key stakeholders to ensure a good outcome for our business and our customers
  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry and sound knowledge of production processes
  • Degree qualifications preferable
