We are looking for a Technical Advisor to join our Western Sydney Service Centre (WSSC) Operations Division in Erskine Park, NSW.

The Technical Team within WSSC Operations is responsible for the overall continued improvement in the quality and operations of products on the painted line. They are accountable for ensuring painted products adhere to customer quality standards and specifications.

What is the Role?
As the Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring process specialists on product quality, as well as providing technical support to the business and customers on product quality issues. You will ensure the business is meeting or exceeding customer expectations by increasing operations efficiencies.
 
Additional Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with product and manufacturing design;
• Managing product capability;
• Coordinating strategies for improved process control;
• Analyzing data of paint line output;
• Resolving customer product issues in a timely manner; and
• Managing non-conforming products for re-classing and disposal
 
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a resilient individual who is comfortable negotiating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, as well as making decisions with accountability and minimal supervision.

You have exceptional communication skills and high attention to detail, as well as proficient excel and data analysis ability.

A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science and experience working in a similar manufacturing environment will be highly desirable.
