Our client is an international exporter who distribute to many countries around the world. This Logistics Officer position is part time and remotely based. They are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to join their expanding team in Sydney.
Client Details
Our client is a leading global supplier of diagnostic solutions for food and feed safety. Our client distribute different types of testing products that indicate particular pathogens, food allergens, gluten and GMO that may be found in food. Their headquarters is based in Singapore and Austria, our client is looking to expand their reach with experienced employees within Australia.
Description
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will efficiently ensure that logistics processes are streamlined and monitored. Ensuring the link between customers and shipment. Specifically you will:
- Prepare shipments - delivery orders, packing lists
- Liaising with production staff of export shipments
- Prepare all purchase orders
- Liaise with Freight Forwarder to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure all permits are correct for both import and export
- Coordinate with all parties to monitor shipments
Profile
As a driven Supply Chain and Logistics professional, you will assist the Managing Director in logistics processes while ensuring all shipments are monitored and delivered. Their ideal candidate will have prior experience in
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics/ Supply Chain
- Proven experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry
- Strong understanding of Import and Export process
- Ability to work Part Time - 3 Days but can be flexible
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
