THE ROLE
This is an essential role within our maintenance team reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent. You will plan all maintenance work, maximizing the efficiencies of all resources to meet the required work management system objectives.
You will provide technical support and assistance to the manufacturing department by continuous improvement of the plant and equipment performance & reliability.
Success in the role will require strong leadership skills. You will be required to provide relief support to the Maintenance Superintendent and regularly supervise contractors.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning & scheduling
- Trade or Engineering qualifications relevant to heavy industry or manufacturing
- Proven safety & leadership capabilities
- Established technical skills in a heavy industrial / manufacturing environment such as shutdown management & overhauls, daily planning & scheduling
- Excellent communication & time-management skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- SAP experience will be highly regarded
